As a mom of two girls (now 4 and 7 years old), I know the struggle of finding the right shoes all too well! Some constantly slip off their feet, others pinch and then the little ones don't want to wear them at all, and the next makes little feet sweat because the material isn't breathable. We searched for so long and spent so much money on products that ended up just sitting in the corner ๐๐ .

Then, in our case, Luisa always loved to put her feet in her mouth all day long. But the thought of constantly sucking on leather materials always upset my stomach.
So many chemicals are used in the processing of leather. "Not only non-toxic substances are used in tanning, dyeing, and bonding." (Quote from www.Elternkompass.de https://www.google.de/amp/s/www.elternkompass.de/krabbelschuhe-so-wird-dein-baby-in-der-motorischen-entwicklung-unterstuetzt/%3famp). It was clear to me that the first baby shoes absolutely had to be made of fabric.
And so, during our seven-year stay in Turkey, I found a small studio that lovingly handcrafts these beautiful baby moccasins, initially just for us and now also for you. The booties are made of velvety soft material to support the natural development of baby feet. They're also washable (oh yes, we all know how much little ones love to get muddy โค๏ธ), breathable, and, of course, anti-slip to help little ones crawl and walk (and learn to walk) and give them more self-confidence.
It was very important to me that the shoes were also made entirely vegan ๐ฑ, as we also want to do our part to protect the environment ๐. While we're not vegan, we are vegetarian and celebrate sustainability every day.
I'm very much looking forward to sharing more of our turbulent life with you in the future and growing together โค๏ธ
