Pineapple fries with raspberry ketchup
- 10 servings
- Preparation: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 750 g pineapple
- 400 g frozen raspberries
For this delicious party snack, first peel the pineapple and remove the dark eyes. Then, cut the pineapple lengthwise into 1 cm thick slices, then into sticks up to 10 cm long, which will look just like real fries. Simply puree the raspberries. If they're too tart, you can add a little powdered sugar or, better yet, sweeten with stevia. Form small bags out of parchment paper and place the fries in portions. Serve the "ketchup" in a small bowl.

Tortilla rolls à la casa
- 10 servings
- Preparation: 15 minutes
Tortillas are incredibly versatile and a delicious finger food. Today we want to make quick vegan rolls with a couscous and broccoli filling. But there are basically no limits to your options. You can be creative with the filling and even use up leftovers from the fridge.
Ingredients
- 5 tortilla flatbreads
- 150 g couscous
- 350 ml water
- 150 g broccoli
- 1 handful of herbs of your choice
- 1 teaspoon salt,
- 1 pinch of pepper
- Juice of ¼ lemon
Cook the broccoli, cut into florets, in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes, then remove the pot from the heat. Remove the broccoli and mash it with a fork (you can also use an immersion blender). Add the mixture to the water along with the couscous, herbs, salt, and pepper, and let the couscous swell until all the water is absorbed. Lay the tortillas out side by side and spread a thin layer of the couscous mixture on top. Roll the tortillas up and cut finger-thick slices at the end. You can also pierce toothpicks to prevent the rolls from falling apart. This healthy sushi becomes a popular party snack as finger food. A tomato or avocado dip goes perfectly with it.

Vegan puff pastry sausage party snacks
- 10 servings
- Preparation: 10 minutes plus 20 minutes baking
- 6 vegan sausages
- 4 tbsp cranberries from a jar
- A pack of vegan puff pastry
- 2 tsp soy sauce
Prepare the six sausages according to the instructions. You can usually do this in a pan or in the oven. Spread the puff pastry out and spread the cranberry jam on it. Cut the sausages into small pieces and arrange them on the puff pastry as well. Roll up the puff pastry, brushing the outer side with soy sauce. Cut the roll into slices and arrange them on a baking sheet. Place the whole thing in the oven and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about half an hour. Yummy!
Alternatively, you can cut small round shapes out of the puff pastry, fill the center of each one, and press them together like a candy. This looks particularly pretty, is perfect for any party, and is sure to delight children.

Mushroom sesame potato balls

- 150 g mushrooms
- 2-3 tablespoons flour
- 1 tbsp parsley
- 1 tbsp + 3 tbsp white sesame seeds

Let the balls rest briefly, then roll them in breadcrumbs mixed with 3 tablespoons of sesame seeds and fry them in a little oil until golden brown. A dip made from soy yogurt with lots of herbs or even a homemade basil pesto complements this quick finger food dish wonderfully.

Tofu satay skewers with Indonesian peanut sauce
- 10 servings
- Preparation: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 500g tofu
- 2 red and 2 yellow peppers
- 2 apples
- Oil for frying
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 5 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 small onions
- 2 tbsp agave syrup
- 1 pinch of mild curry powder
- Juice of ½ lemon
First, cut the tofu into 1.5 cm cubes and marinate it for 2 hours in orange juice, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and curry powder. Cut the bell peppers and apples into 1.5 cm pieces as well. Alternate the tofu, bell peppers, and apples on skewers and brush them with a little oil. Place them on a baking sheet and bake at 180 °C for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, finely dice the onions and fry them briefly in a pan. Once they've browned nicely, add the coconut milk, agave syrup, peanut butter, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and lemon juice. Bring everything to a boil briefly. You can serve the sauce hot or cold with the skewers, which can also be hot or cold.
You can be quite flexible with the vegetables, by the way. Alternatively, you could use small red onions or zucchini slices. Pineapple, mushrooms, or baby corn also go well with this dish.

At a children's party, in addition to healthy nutrition, fun is also particularly important
We've already taken care of the little rascals' food. Now it's time to entertain them as best as possible, because a boring children's party is simply not going to work. You could decide on a theme for the party beforehand. Let's say pirates, for example. All activities and games should revolve around this theme.
The Hunt for the Lost Treasure
A game that kids can play both indoors and outdoors is called treasure hunt. Here, you create a small treasure map with clues beforehand. You've hidden a small treasure in an unknown location in your apartment or garden, and the kids have to find it using the map.
Feeding the prisoners
Of course, pirates also take numerous prisoners who need to be cared for. Two children sit on a chair. The child in front is the prisoner and is given an old jacket (which can get dirty) inside out. The child sitting behind him (the guard) slips through the sleeves and begins grabbing all sorts of food lying on the table in front of them, feeding it to the prisoner.
This game can also be organized as a competition, with two teams competing against each other. The team that consumes everything the fastest wins. Further rounds then follow in knockout format until a winner is determined.
Small gifts increase friendship
If you're holding small competitions at your children's party, the little ones will naturally appreciate a gift. Instead of giving out pointless items, you could give them something like our beanies or a scarf .
Our soft beanies and scarves are all made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, providing perfect protection from the cold and are very comfortable to wear.
